But if you look at the other side of the bank under the bridge, the turnout was quite spectacular. Not to mention that this happened all along the river and in boats as well. Unfortunately my digital camera doesn't take photos of fireworks very well. From level 35 we had a very good view of bridge. It was not until later in the night that I realised I'd turned off the flash. I doubt that would have had any impact on my photos though.
Looks like I took photos of some crazy light show. These were some of the smaller fireworks which took place all along the river.
Throughout the night we helped ourselves to booze and food. Then we sat down for some "Harry's trivia". My team came second last and all because I was outvoted on how to spell "Story bridge"! Somehow I got talked into going to Friday's for some dancing, and thank god I don't have photos of that! So my first Riverfire turned out to be pretty eventful. I didn't get home until 2am because I spent 1.5 hours in a cab line. That was my first time in a cab line, and hopefully it will be my last. I will be looking forward to the next Riverfire though.This is how I'd wished my photo had turned out. Except I don't remember the fireworks being pink.
